Maxsonic Elite 1.7L Glass Kettle

Maxsonic Elite 1.7L Glass Kettle boils 1.7 litres behind clear glass, so you can see exactly how much water is in it and watch it come to the boil. That is enough for a pot of tea and a couple of mugs, or a bowl of instant noodles and a coffee, without refilling between them.

An LED in the base lights the water while it boils, the lid opens at the push of a button so you can refill one-handed, and boil-dry protection cuts the power if it is switched on empty. Available at Dominion Appliances & Gift Shop in Tobago.

Why Choose Maxsonic

Maxsonic build a glass kettle at the price of a plastic one. Glass shows you the water level from across the kitchen and never gives the water the faint taste that a cheap plastic kettle can, which is the whole reason people move to glass in the first place.

FAQ

How much does the 1.7 litre kettle hold?
1.7 litres, which is roughly seven mugs. It stands about 10 inches high and 8 inches across, so it fits under most wall cabinets.

What is the light in the base for?
An LED illuminates the water while the kettle is boiling and goes out when it switches off, so you can tell from across the room whether it is still working.

Does a glass kettle show limescale more?
Yes, and that is worth knowing before you buy. Glass hides nothing, so scale shows up as a film that a stainless kettle would conceal. It is not doing any harm, but you will want to descale it more often to keep it looking right.

Can I buy this kettle in Tobago?
Yes. It is available at Dominion Appliances & Gift Shop and can be ordered online at buydominion.com.
